As an employer, it is our duty to protect the health and safety of our employees as well as that of our contractors, visitors and any other person that may be affected by our activities.  Every effort is made to ensure that both employees and sub-contractors understand and comply with the requirements, of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and applicable regulations made there under and any other applicable legislation.

All personnel employed by the company have a responsibility and obligation to comply with the requirements of this policy in achieving a safe place of work and to take reasonable care of themselves, and others, which may be affected by their work.

Our Health & Safety Policy aims to:

  • Comply at a minimum, with all applicable legislation and continually improve our Health and Safety standards.

  • Ensure that our employees and sub-contractors are aware of and implement the company’s Health and Safety Policies.
  • Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, safe equipment and safe systems of work for all employees and others.
  • Provide information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary so as to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of its employees while at work.
  • Prevent any improper conduct or behaviour likely to put the safety, health and welfare of employees at risk.
  • Prepare and maintain adequate procedures and plans to be followed in any emergency.
  • Maintain and update the company’s policy and review annually.
